Dale County DHR Fire

DHR Fire Matthew Wilson

Ozark Police now have some answers as to what caused a fire that destroyed the Dale County Department of Human Resources building over the weekend.

At a news conference Thursday, Ozark Police Chief Tony Spivey released the state fire marshall's investigation report stating that the fire was a result of arson.

Four people have been charged with the August 30th fire that destroyed the Dale County Department of Human Resources building.

19-year-old Matt Wilson and three juveniles, all residents of Ozark, have been charged with arson second degree.

Officials say additional charges are pending against the suspects.

Temporary offices are in the Ozark Civic Center but will move to another temporary location at the Perry Recreation Center next week.
