State Special Olympics Move to Troy?

The state Special Olympics may soon have a new home.

At the annual awards luncheon today, Special Olympic leaders were invited to bring the games to Troy.

Currently the teams compete in Auburn.

University officials expect to reach a decision regarding the move today.

The Board of Directors was expected to a vote to move to Troy. This wouldn't be the first time the games were in Troy. City leaders say they have played host before.
