Plane Crash

Two people were killed in the crash of a small plane in north Alabama.

The aircraft went down about 9 a.m. in Duncanville, about 10 miles southeast of Tuscaloosa.

An air safety investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board said the two-seat, single-engine plane crashed near Highway 82.

An investigator from the Atlanta office of the Federal Aviation Administration is at the scene.

The departure point and destination of the flight were unknown.
