Alltel customers may notice their phones working just a bit better in Northwest Florida.
After a yearlong dispute, a cellular tower has been erected along the Bay/Washington county line in Ebro.
The disagreement centered on a construction permit issued by the Ebro town Council and the company that put up the tower.
Once all the details were ironed out, the 250-foot tower was put up last week.
Previously, cell phone users found it extremely difficult to get a signal in that area.
