Today is the deadline for Dothan restaurants to change over to either smoking or smoke free facilities.
Under the city's new rules, restaurants with bars will still be able to offer smoking and non-smoking areas.
But they'll have to completely separate both sections with walls and a door.
P.T.'s Food and Friends is one of the businesses that will continue to try to offer both options.
They already have sliding glass doors separating smoking and non-smoking bars.
But they're now working on putting in a more permanent divider.
One Dothan official estimates somewhere around 75-percent of the restaurants that have already notified the city of their plans do plan to go completely smoke free.
