Santa will be coming early for some Dale County children this year.
The Ozark Fire Department, the Organized Community Action Program and the Department of Human Resources are teaming up for the Operation Santa Clause Program.
Sponsors are taking new or like-new toys to give to children, from the toddler age through 10-years-old, within Dale County that may not receive any gifts for Christmas.
“Operation Santa Clause provides the less fortunate children of Ozark and Dale County a little bit of happiness at Christmas that at times they normally wouldn't get" says Ozark Fire Chief Dempsey Barefield.
If you would like to contribute a new or like-new toy, you can drop them off at any Ozark Fire Station.
Monetary donations for the program are also accepted and can be left at any fire department or City Hall.
Clothing or household items will NOT be accepted.
