Because of the generosity of friends, a four-year-old Jackson County girl will soon receive a kidney transplant.

A benefit sing and dinner was held for Anna Hancock at the Heritage Church in Marianna.

Last April, Anna's kidneys were removed after they stopped working properly.

Anna's mother, Sarah drives Anna to the University of Alabama-Birmingham Transplant Center each week for dialysis.

One of Sarah's co-workers at the Chipley Wal-Mart Store has volunteered to give one of his kidneys to Anna.

If you would like to help pay for Anna's surgery, a transplant fund has been set up at Sun-Trust Bank under Anna Lynn Hancock. The account number is 0177007892047.
