A police spokesman said as many as 150 people may have died in a plane collision in Europe.

They were aboard a Tupolev 154 Passenger Plane that collided with a Boeing 757 with two pilots aboard. The Boeing was a DHL Flight.

Rescue workers have already recovered some of the bodies.

The planes went down in Southern Germany, near Lake Constance and the Swiss-Austrian Border, scattering wreckage over the countryside as far as 20 miles from the scene.

Dozens of people have flooded police stations in the area with calls, saying they saw a big ball of fire in the sky.
