The Coffee County Volunteer Firefighters' Association Treasurer says his organization is being "nickled and dimed" to death.
Terry Wilkins' request for rent-free use of the community center was turned down by the Coffee County Commission.
Chiefs from the nine-volunteer departments meet on a quarterly basis and each time the association must pay a $40 user fee.
One commissioner says the board has been flooded with requests for rent free use of the community room and farm center.
The issue will be discussed in an upcoming Coffee County Commission Workshop.
