An Enterprise resident is asking local officials to crack down on speeders and possibly lower the speed limit.
Foxwood Commons homeowners president Monty Kirkland told the Enterprise City Council that it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Residents claim cars are going well above the 25 mile-per-hour speed limit while children play in their yards.
Kirkland says 10 miles per hour should be the maximum speed. The subdivision is off of Rucker Boulevard.
The council directed Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones to meet with homeowners to come up with a solution to the speeding issue.
