In Georgia, an Early County man is in jail without bond in connection with a home invasion and rape that happened early Sunday morning in Blakely.
Twenty-two-year-old Marque Brown allegedly broke into a house on North Main Street and assaulted an 80-year-old woman.
Early County investigators believe Brown took money from her, raped her, tied her up and then fell asleep on the couch.
After several hours, the woman was able to free herself and go to neighbors for help.
Several deputies received minor injuries as they struggled to arrest brown.
He faces 13 charges including rape, kidnapping and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
