White to run for Dothan city school board chairperson
School board member Gayla White announced she is running for Dothan City School Board Chairperson on Tuesday.

School board member Gayla White announced she is running for Dothan City School Board Chairperson on Tuesday.
Gayla is the first to announce she's running for the position.
She says her years of service on the board have prepared her for this next step.
"I think part of being elected and me wanting to take on where Steve is leaving off is to continue that initiative that we have with ‘Yes We Can’, the programs that the Wiregrass Foundation has came in and done and some of our elementary school and throughout our system has been tremendous and has a great impact with us and I'd like to see those continued," says White.
Elections will be held July 14th.
