Opening arguments are expected to begin today in the case of an elderly Houston County woman who was killed during a home invasion robbery.
James Earl Walker could get the death penalty if he's convicted.
He's charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 87-year-old Bessie Lee Thweet of Wicksburg.
A co-defendant has already been convicted and sentenced to die.
Jury selection for Walker's trial should wrap up this morning.
Walker is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail.
