The Dothan Area Convention and Visitors Burea wants the city to consider allowing liquor and draft beer sales on Sunday.
Bob Hendrix, bureau executive director, says Dothan is losing conventions and groups to other cities of Dothan's size.
Liquor sales are allowed in some restaurants that have club liquor licenses and draft beer sales at micro-breweries located in historic districts.
Some city commissioners were not convinced that Sunday liquor sales are a good idea.
