One year ago, the discovery of an elderly murder victim shocked residents of a small Wiregrass city.
Today, the Reuben Spicer case remains unsolved, but local and state investigators continue to follow leads in the slaying of the 80-year-old Samson resident.
Spicer's badly beaten body was found inside his home. He had been hit with some kind of object. The murder weapon has never been found.
