A long awaited road repair project came one step closer to reality in central Coffee County.
A Dothan based engineering firm formally opened the bids' to the Tyler Street Project, shortly after Hurricane Ivan struck the Wiregrass two years-ago.
A 50-foot sinkhole developed on Tyler, causing officials to barricade it.
The city will receive a total of just under $400,000 dollars from the feds and state to make the repairs.
Once the city council selects a construction company, work is expected to be completed in 90-days.
