AG Fibers has announced it will establish a $2.5 million business on the East side of Dothan. The company will employ 75 people in the first 30 months.

Their manufacturing process produces a container for lawn and garden insecticides and fertilizers. Peanut hulls are used to manufacture the products.

AG Fiber Manager Bob Scobee said he looked at other places to locate, but chose Dothan because of their friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Products containing AG Fibers carrier will be available under various brand names through mass merchants and local lawn and garden centers throughout the U.S.
