Two charged in Bay County dog attack
On March 9, 2009 a two year old Callaway girl was attacked by a dog and severely injured.

On March 9, 2009 a two year old Callaway girl was attacked by a dog and severely injured. After an investigation the Bay County Sheriff’s Office submitted the case to the State Attorney’s Office.
The State Attorney’s Office notified the Sheriff’s Office with the decision to arrest the babysitter, Kayla Diane Nowlin ( W/F, DOB 10/06/1991) on charges of Child Neglect/ Causing Great Bodily Harm which is a felony charge.
As well as the owner of the dog Rebbeca Sue Mobbs (W/F, DOB 07/19/1976). Mobbs was issued a notice to appear on charges of Disregard with Dog Known to Bite which is a misdemeanor charge.
At this time Kayla Nowlin is being processed at the Bay County Jail.
