The Pike County Fair kicked off on Tuesday, and this year's military appreciation theme can be seen throughout the exhibits.
The fair, located on 231, south of Troy, displays booths from area organizations, a performance stage, petting zoo and of course, fairground rides.
"People should come out to the fair to have fun. This is the place where, regardless of age, everybody has a wonderful time," says Pike County Fair Manager James Henderson.
Admission to the fair is $6 for adults, ages 12 and above; and $4 for children 6 through 11.
Children under 5 are admitted free.
