A Dale County capital murder case is scheduled to go to trial next week.
Twenty-seven-year-old Emanual Gissendaner is accused in the kidnapping death of an elderly Ozark woman.
Seventy-seven-year-old Margaret Snellgrove disappeared from her home in June of 2001 and her car was stolen.
Witnesses allegedly saw Gissendaner driving the vehicle within an hour of the woman's disappearance.
The car was found the next day near Gissendaner's home.
The victim's body was discovered in a nearby wooded area a few days later.
Jury selection for Gissendaner's trial is scheduled to begin Monday in Ozark.
