Marianna Murder Update

murder 200x120

Northwest Florida authorities are reaching out for information to help solve the murder of a Marianna man and his wife.

The Jackson County Fire Department responded to a fire at 3826 Missouri Street in Marianna on April 30 this year.

The badly burned bodies of a man and woman were found inside the home.

An autopsy revealed they had been murdered.

A state crime lab eventually identified the victims as Kenneth Powell and his wife, Sabrena Tedder.

Sheriff John McDaniel says investigators are still running down leads in the case.

A reward of more than $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
