Dothan Police are investigating a bank burglary, but apparently, the suspects left empty-handed.
Between closing Friday and opening Monday, someone cut a hole in the roof of the Compass Bank at the corner of Ross Clark Circle and Montgomery Highway.
The suspects dropped down into a storage room and apparently gained access to the rest of the building, but nothing was taken.
Police say similar crimes have been committed at banks and drug stores across the Southeast in recent months.
They are still trying to pinpoint exactly when this one happened.
The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
