Methamphetamine Bust

Two Henry County men are behind bars following a raid on their home near Headland.

Thirty-two-year-old Joseph Graves and 40-year-old David Whatley have been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

Bond for each suspect has been set at $100,000. More than $25,000 in cash was seized in the raid on Henry County Road 38 near the Houston County line.

Officers also found nearly two ounces of a drug called "ice" with a street value of about $7,000 and a handgun.

Police say "ice" is a higher grade of methamphetamine that's more potent and more addictive.

Dothan narcotics officers, a police SWAT team, agents with the ABC Board and the Henry County Sheriff's department participated in the raid.

Investigators believe the drugs came from Atlanta.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
