Alabama high school students are getting a head start on their eventual quest for good paying jobs.
State School Superintendent Ed Richardson announced that 9th thru 12th graders who take technology classes, will receive international business and industry certification.
As a result, Alabama high school graduates who concentrate on technology courses while in high school will be sought by employees like Mercedes, Toyota and managers at the soon to be built Hyundai Plant in Montgomery County.
