In a Colorado courtroom this week, depositions get underway in the lawsuit against two sets of parents whose sons opened fire at Columbine High School.

Families of five students killed in the 1999 attack are suing the parents of teen gunmen Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Harris and Klebold killed 12 students and a teacher before killing themselves.

Plaintiffs in the lawsuit say the boys' families knew or should have known their children were planning an attack. Some of the pipe bombs used in the attack were made at the Harris home.

Attorneys for the Harrises and Klebolds also will take depositions.

Judy Brown, whose son, Brooks, reported death threats made by Eric Harris, says she will give a deposition Monday. She and her husband have criticized authorities for failing to follow up on their reports about Harris.
