A teen is one of two people accused of killing his adoptive mother and stepfather in Blountstown.

The bodies of 58-year-old Ruthie Mae Andrews and 48-year-old Jack Paul Walker were found in their home Sunday.

Investigators believe they were fatally beaten to death as early as Friday.

Police and Santa Rosa County sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year-old Charlton John Andrews of Blountstown, three hours after he crashed a stolen sports utility vehicle into the front porch of an unoccupied house Sunday night.

The second suspect, 23-year-old Jennifer Nichole Jackson of Milton, was arrested about a half-hour later at another home in Milton.

They are being held without bond at the Santa Rosa County jail on open murder counts pending their return to Blountstown.

No motive has been established.
