Lynch Homecoming

The population of Elizabeth, West Virginia is growing much bigger, all because of one person.

Already, thousands of out-of-towners, mostly journalists, have jammed into the county seat to hear former POW Jessica Lynch's first public comments since her dramatic rescue in Iraq.

Hotels down the road are booked solid.

The soldier is still recovering from injuries she suffered in an ambush during the war. She will be flown to Elizabeth Tuesday by helicopter from Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington. She's expected to make a brief public statement before traveling in a military motorcade to her hometown of Palestine.

One area convenience store worker says she hasn't been this busy since the Wal-Mart opened a few years ago.
