New Rehobeth High School

No more mobile classrooms for Houston County students. A new Rehobeth High School is set to open its doors.

School officials and members of the Rehobeth community came out to dedicate the new high school.

A reception was held for guests, followed by special presentations from school officials and those who worked on the project.

Visitors were invited to tour the school.

Already, students have begun reserving lockers and picking up parking decals from the main office.

Dr. Roy Watford, Rehobeth's principal, says the new school will help alleviate congestion at the old campus and will help all students to function better.

The new Rehobeth High School was completed this past May. About 650 students are expected to begin classes there this Friday.
