The Alabama Department of Transportation will be detouring traffic on a selection of Highway 431.
Reeves Street will be closed at mile post 17.2 for about a week. AL-DOT plans to install a triple line of drainage pipe across the roadway.
Drivers are encouraged to choose an alternate route in advance to avoid possible inconveniences.
The City of Dothan will detour traffic along Wilson Street, Twitchell Road and Speigner Street.
Traffic control devices will be in place to alert drivers of the closure.
