The Pentagon is announcing changes in the way it uses its limited supply of anthrax vaccine.
Defense officials said because of post-Sept. 11 fears, about half the military's supply will be shared with civilians in case of a domestic bioterror attack.
In the past, all of the Pentagon's anthrax vaccine was set aside for the military.
They say the vaccine will be administered only to troops and essential civilians who are assigned for more than 15 days to "higher threat" areas of the world.
