Dale County officials are still waiting to finalize their budget.

Monday, leaders met to discuss how much each department is expected to use during the next fiscal year.

In the proposed budget, all county employees will get a 35-cent pay raise.

Some other departments will also see increases, as well the Volunteer Fire Department. They are slated to receive a $500-dollar increase and Fire and Rescue Departments will also get additional money.

"The budget is really looking good. We have to work to have the balanced budget, but we're going to be able to accomplish this" says Hon. Eunice Hagler with the Dale County Commission.

Further discussion on the budget by commissioners is slated for next Monday.
