Bray Bone Marrow Match

After several blood drives here in the Wiregrass, doctors for Christine Bray have found a bone marrow match.

Christine's parents say there are six people in the United States who are listed as a match for their daughter.

That means Christine will now be able to have a bone marrow transplant which could add years to her life.

The Bray's will have the procedure done byan expert in Minnesota.

They say Christine isn't as nervous about the procedure as she is about losing her hair.

The bone marrow transplant is the first step to Christine's recovery.

Doctors warn her parents there is 99 percent chance she will develop cancer after the transplant.

If you would like to help Christine, you can make donations at the Army Aviation Federal Credit Union or log onto Christine's website at 22bray.com
