Two Enterprise public city schools will each receive $5000 additional dollars for making significant improvements in student achievement.
Holly Hill and Enterprise High School were two of 300 schools statewide selected by the State Board of Education to receive reward dollars.
The criteria used in selecting the schools were high test scores, along with making adequate yearly progress for two consecutive years.
A committee of Alabama educators used student test data from the 2005 school year to determine which schools were eligible for the additional monies.
