Dothan city commissions will be voting Wednesday on a proposed sales tax increase.
Two weeks ago commissioners couldn't reach a unanimous decision to vote on the tax increase.
A one-cent sales tax increase would generate about $12 million for the city.
The money would be spent on improvement projects and maintenance for each of the six districts.
If all commissioners are present Wednesday, they can discuss and even vote on the issue without unanimous approval.
