Elba Auto Supplier

There is some good economic news in the Western Wiregrass Friday. An Ohio based automotive parts supplier will soon build a plant in Elba.

Elba Mayor James Grimes officially introduced an auto supplier to his city. Toledo Molding and Dye, Incorporated makes plastic injection and blow molding systems. It supplies the Nissan plants in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Company President Don Harbaugh also hopes to do business with the Montgomery Hyundai Plant which is near completion.

The company will build a 92,000 square foot facility near the Elba Airport. It is expected to be up and running by year's end with more than 100 employees.

This will be Toledo Moldings seventh plant facility nationwide, the company employs around 1,000 people.

Toldeo Moldings president says they'll begin hiring in either late summer or early Fall.
