One day before the arrival of Tropical Storm Claudette along the Texas coast, there seemed to be more people drawing towards the storm than fleeing from it.
On South Padre Island, there were some beach goers in a party mode.
A host of people arrived on Sunday to welcome the storm
South Padre is in-line with Brownsville, Texas, which is where the eye of the storm may come ashore.
Others injoyed the active waves and the sunny day and had no immediate plans to leave the coast.
Some business owners still have not boarded up their shops, choosing to wait to see where Claudette would churn.
A hurricane watch has been posted along the South Texas coast from Port O'Conner to Brownsville and South along the Mexican coast to Rio San Fernando.
