Troy Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for hitting a Public Works employee.
Troy Police arrested 19-year-old Christopher Solomon.
He is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury.
Tuesday morning, Solomon allegedly struck City of Troy Public Works Employee, 28-year-old Arlo Jones.
Jones was working on Knox Street on a Garbage route when the collision occurred.
“Everyone has a responsibility to, if they are involved in an accident, to stay at the scene and not to leave,” said Sergeant Benny Scarbrough of Troy Police
Jones was transported by private vehicle to a Troy physician, where he was treated and released for an injury to the knee.
