A federal judge has cleared two Covington County officers of wrongdoing in a fatal shooting.
Walter and Chris Inabinett were dismissed in connection with the death of Aaron Shaw.
Shaw was killed by Walter Inabinett nearly two-years ago during an altercation with officers on Highway 55 near Florala.
The judge's ruling says the use of deadly force was justified because Shaw had grabbed Officer Chris Inabinett's taser and used the weapon to knock the officer to the ground.
Plaintiffs have 30 days to appeal the ruling.
