An inmate who escaped from the Covington County Jail four years ago has been found guilty of capital murder.
According to the Andalusia-Star newspaper, the jury is also recommending a life sentence for Oscar Doster.
Doster broke out of the Covington County Jail with three other inmates in November of 2002.
Paul Lemaster was shot to death in his mobile home near Gantt the next day.
Lemaster's pick-up truck was also stolen.
Doster and another inmate still had the truck when they were recaptured in Texas nearly two-weeks later.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 20th.
