Chicken Recall

The Agriculture Department says a Georgia-based poultry firm is recalling 129,000 pounds of chicken because it may contain glass.

ConAgra is asking distributors in five states to return three-and-a-half to four-pound bags of "Country Pride Fresh Chicken" packages.

The packages in question have a sell-by date of June 20, June 21, or June 22.

They are also marked P-177 inside the USDA inspection seal.

The five states where the product was sent are Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Two types of 40-pound cases of chicken are also being recalled.

Consumers are being urged to return the chicken to the place of purchase.
