New Enterprise Early Childhood Center

The Enterprise City School District approved its five year capital outlay plan from 2006 through 2011.

The largest expenditure is going toward the construction of the new childhood education center on the Southside of the Boll Weevil Circle.

The $12 million facility is expected to be ready by the start of the 2007 school year.

Officials say construction is right on time and may even be ahead of schedule depending on the weather.

The facility will handle strictly Pre-K and kindergarten students.

It's patterned after a similar center in Auburn.
