Area police arrest a man they say is responsible for the 2000 theft and arson of a movie set in Thomasville.
Forty-two-year-old Richard Eusebio Mainiero was arrested Wednesday night and charged with burglary and arson.
Thomasville police investigators say they discovered several articles in an area storage unit last night that were stolen from the movie set in August of 2000, including evidence connecting Mainiero to the arson.
Mainiero was booked into the Thomas County jail; his arraignment is scheduled later Thursday afternoon.
