Alabama State Troopers say three people were killed in weekend traffic accidents on state highways.

The fatalities include a motorcyclist in Coffee County who died Sunday morning.

Troopers said 43-year-old John Childs of Goshen was riding on Alabama Highway 125 when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

The wreck occurred about seven miles northeast of Brundidge at about 9:30 am.

Late Saturday night, a two vehicle crash claimed the life of Montgomery County man, 35-year-old Laron Cobb of Ramar.

Troopers said a third traffic fatality was reported in Greene County.
