Dothan Flooding

What was left of Tropical Storm Bill brought too much rain too quickly to parts of Dothan Tuesday.

Flooded streets made driving hazardous and prompted public service announcements warning motorists to use caution in low lying areas.

A section of Murphy Mill Road between John D Odom and Barrington Roads was closed for a while because of water across the highway.

Several other streets also flooded during the heaviest downpours, but once the rain subsided, most of the water drained away within a few minutes.
