Missing Children

Two South Florida toddlers are safe in the Florida Panhandle and waiting to be reunited with their grandmother after being abducted from their home by their parents, Nora and Jose Montano.

Police say they were taken from the grandmother's home after their mother crashed a car through the sliding glass door and rushed into the house.

The children are in the permanent custody of their grandmother.

Their parents face their first court hearing this afternoon. Although authorities issued an Amber Alert for the children, police say they found them through tracking their mother's credit card use.

Nora Montano was arrested on charges of kidnapping and robbery home invasion. Police and family say the mother has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

The children's father, Jose Montano, was also arrested on the same charges.
