Florida Drownings

Five people drowned and more than 30 people were rescued from rough waters in Destin, Florida.

Warnings were issued to people to stay out of the water from the Walton County sheriff's helicopter.

Red flags were out cautioning swimmers of the dangerous swimming conditions.

And ten other swimmers were rescued from neighboring Okaloosa County.

The drowning victims are: 62-year-old Marietta Yakstis of Illinois; 40-year-old David Huang of Houston; 60-year-old Larry LaMotte of Atlanta; and Maura Amos, of Sellersburg, Indiana. The fifth victim was not identified.
