The Alabama Department of Transportation wants you to be cautious when traveling on Highway 123 in Ozark.
The Wiregrass Construction Company will begin work Thursday on nearly three miles of the road.
Work crews will be resurfacing, along with placing traffic stripes along Highway 123 from Highway 231 to the bridge north of Roy Parker Road.
Police and DOT officials want drivers to watch for crews in the area.
“We do ask that motorists be extra observant to construction workers that are on the highway. There will be a lot of traffic movement up and down,” said Deputy Chief Eddy Henderson of Ozark Police.
DOT officials say all necessary traffic control devices will be in place to insure the safety of the workers and motorists.
