The old Wal-Mart on Ross Clark Circle is now a pile of rubble, and Dothan is just one step closer to getting the nation's largest home improvement retail store.
Home Depot will start construction as soon as demolition and cleanup is finished.
The store will hire between 120 and 150 people.
Besides the new building, Home Depot will also have a huge garden center.
Home Depot will be competing with several other home improvement retail stores in the area.
The store is expected to be up in about three months.
