Hatcher Surrenders

hatcher/forgery

A Geneva County woman wanted for embezzlement turned herself in at police headquarters in Dothan Wednesday.

Thirty-four-year-old Amy Hatcher of Slocomb was accompanied by her attorney.

So far, she's been charged with one count of forgery and is free on a $10,000 bond, but investigators say more charges are pending.

Hatcher's accused of stealing over $30,000 from the company where she worked.

Police say she forged more than 100 checks over a two-year period and also misused company cell phones and credit cards.
