Meth Problem

Police say nearly every day, a meth lab is raided or an arrest is made stemming from meth.

Authorities say that crystal meth and the household chemicals used to make it are all to common. Area law enforcement officers say meth is public enemy number one.

And to combat this drug problem, a unique drug rehab program is being started in Northwest Florida.

Holmes County Sheriff's Department is starting a C.A.S.E. Drug Rehab program (Countywide Anti-substance Abuse Efforts) against drugs.

Instead of jail, an intensive rehab effort may yield more results and be cheaper to the taxpayer.

Another rehab program, Narcotics Anonymous is formed to help those hooked on meth. And Slocomb Police are seriously looking at this program.
